I got to hang out with Katie & Alex for a few hours on a freeeezing afternoon. Like, -40C. We initially had plans to shoot in a local coffee shop & then head down the street to a candy shop, however, the coffee shop was jam-packed with an event that day (thank baby Jesus I went early), so we completely changed it up last minute. The results? I’m sooo not mad about it.
I am a natural light photographer, and with wind chills that hurt your face – I needed to get something set up inside with natural light. In like, 20 minutes. I frequently rent a space from The Junction in Regina that has beautiful character & plenty of natural light. Bingo – that was my plan.
I head over 20 minutes before the session & THANK GOD they had everything you see in the shots throughout the building that I just threw together and made a set. It worked!! The girls were happy when they showed up, and I had an absolute blast getting creative and putting this together.
These two were an absolute dream to work with. They brought so much love & light to the session and had a blast, which is always something I enjoy seeing. The chemistry between them both was both infectious & refreshing. Between inside jokes, laughs, coffees & great conversation, this session is one for the books! Here are some of my favourites!
